Eftsure enters AFR Fast 100 for third straight year

Eftsure has been ranked Australia's 43rd fastest-growing company on the 2025 Australian Financial Review Fast 100 list. This marks the third consecutive year Eftsure has made the list, reflecting the growing demand for business payment protection as fraud risks become more complex.

“Eftsure is proud to be recognized as one of Australia's fastest-growing businesses for the third year running. Payment fraud costs businesses billions every year, and scammers are becoming more sophisticated—but Eftsure's continued growth shows that organizations are taking the threat seriously and investing in the right guardrails," said Jon Soldan, Chief Executive Officer at Eftsure.

According to the ACCC, payment redirection scams rose 67% in 2024, reaching $153 million in reported losses. Globally, FBI IC3 data shows over $8.5 billion in business email compromise (BEC) losses between 2022 and 2024.

In 2025, Eftsure launched International Verifications, allowing organizations to confirm payee details beyond Australia, including New Zealand and the US. It also introduced the Eftsure Guarantee, adding a new layer of assurance for verified payments.

“Cybercrime and fraud are global challenges, which is why we're focused on scaling internationally and helping businesses operate securely—whether they're making domestic or cross-border payments," said Soldan.

These launches followed Eftsure's acquisition of France-based Sis ID. The combined platform now supports businesses in over 30 countries and delivers verification coverage across more regions than ever before.

“Fraudsters have many advantages—especially with today's easy access to AI tools. Our goal is to level the playing field and stop the flow of stolen funds. Making it safe to pay anyone, anywhere, is a major step toward that goal," Soldan said.

David Higgins, Chief Technology Officer, added: “As fraud risk increasingly falls on finance teams, our platform is helping organizations take back control. Relying solely on banks to prevent scam losses exposes businesses to unnecessary risk."

The AFR Fast 100 ranks Australian companies that began trading before July 1, 2020 and earned at least $5 million in revenue in the 2024–25 financial year. Rankings are based on compound annual revenue growth over the past three years.
