Eftsure enters AFR Fast 100 for third straight year

Eftsure has been ranked Australia’s 43rd fastest-growing company in the 2025 Australian Financial Review Fast 100 list. It marks the third consecutive year Eftsure has made the list, highlighting continued demand for business payment protection as fraud risks grow more sophisticated.

"Eftsure is proud to be recognised as one of Australia's fastest-growing businesses for the third year running. Payment fraud costs businesses billions of dollars every year, and scammers are definitely becoming more sophisticated — but Eftsure's continued growth signals that Australian businesses have been taking the problem seriously and are investing in guardrails against fraudsters," said Jon Soldan, Chief Executive Officer at Eftsure.

New ACCC data shows payment redirection scams increased 67% to $153 million in reported losses across 2024. Globally, FBI IC3 figures report over $8.5 billion in business email compromise (BEC) losses between 2022 and 2024.

In 2025, Eftsure launched International Verifications, enabling organisations to confirm payee details beyond Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The company also introduced the Eftsure Guarantee, adding a new layer of assurance for verified payments.

"Cybercrime and fraud are borderless problems, which is why we're intent on growing the business internationally and helping Australian organisations operate securely, whether they're making international or domestic payments," said Soldan.

These launches followed Eftsure's acquisition of France-based Sis ID. The combined platform now supports businesses in over 30 countries and delivers protection across more regions than ever.

"Fraudsters have a lot of advantages, especially now that AI tools are so accessible. Our goal is to level the playing field and stop the flow of stolen money into fraudsters' pockets — ensuring that our customers can make payments to anywhere, from anywhere, is a big step in achieving that mission," said Soldan.

With risk responsibility increasingly falling on finance teams, Eftsure's platform is helping organisations take control of their payments. "If business leaders are fully dependent on their banks to prevent scam losses, they open themselves up to fraud risks," said David Higgins, Chief Technology Officer at Eftsure.

The AFR Fast 100 ranks standalone Australian companies that began trading before 1 July 2020 and generated at least $5 million in revenue during the 2024–25 financial year. Entrants are ranked by compound annual revenue growth over the past three financial years.
